At this year’s ISAGA 2025: The European Simulation and Gaming Forum (EUPF), we had the great opportunity to present our Erasmus+ funded project – a simulation game for healthcare professionals. Together with our project partners from Wohlfahrtswerk Stuttgart and the University of Galway in Ireland, we were able to design and host an engaging 90-minute workshop. Playing the game with a smaller group of participants was a truly exciting and rewarding experience!
The input generated during this session significantly improved the quality of the game design – not only in terms of layout, but also in enhancing the overall fun of the gameplay.
ISAGA is one of the largest conferences on simulation and gaming in Europe for the German-speaking community and takes place every two years. Being part of it meant that our project team could connect with professional simulation and game designers from around the world, gaining valuable insights and exchanging ideas within this inspiring community.
It was a wonderful day that brought together the best of two worlds: research and practice. With plenty of interaction, discussion, and unique event formats, the conference became a true highlight for us.
